Pre-requisites:
Basic Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (LLN)
Minimum age: 18 years

Workwear including enclosed shoes, pants,
minimum short sleeve shirt – PPE provided
Unique Student Identifier (USI) – usi.gov.au

3 Days / 18 hours
Delivery method:
This course is delivered face-to-face at the Gladstone Training Services training centre, 1 Manning St South Gladstone QLD in both classroom and simulated workplace areas.
Who is this Course for?
This course is designed for workers who will be required to safely move loads with a counter-balance forklift in the workplace.
Course outline
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.
Course Outcomes
Successful completion of training and assessment will result in a Statement of Attainment from Gladstone Training Services (RTO #45656).
On successful completion of the Forklift Assessment Instrument a student will receive an AS1 Form from the assessor, which can be used to apply for a High Risk Work Licence. Licencing fees will apply from QLD government. Fee schedule available HERE.
