CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry

Pre-requisites:

Basic Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (LLN)

Workwear including enclosed shoes, pants,
minimum short sleeve shirt – PPE provided

Unique Student Identifier (USI) – usi.gov.au

Course Duration:

4.5-6 hours

Delivery method:

This course is delivered face-to-face at the Gladstone Training Services training centre, 1 Manning St South Gladstone QLD in both classroom and simulated workplace areas.

Who is this Course for?

This unit it appropriate for those working in operational roles within the construction industry.

Course outline

This unit of competency provides new and existing workers with the basic understanding and knowledge needed to start or continue work within the building and construction industry.

Course Outcomes

Successful completion of training and assessment will result in a Statement of Attainment from Gladstone Training Services (RTO #45656). White Cards are issued on site at completion of the course.
